Cpt-colombia-action-solidarity-network -- CPT Colombia English Urgent action and Solidarity List-serve

About Cpt-colombia-action-solidarity-network
English (USA)

Subscribers to this list-serve commit to providing support for the non-violent initiatives of the communities and organizations that CPT Colombia accompanies.

The purpose of the list-serve is to strengthen grass-roots initiatives for justice and peace. Subscribers will receive concrete suggestions including: URGENT ACTIONS, letter-writing, lobbying, networking with other solidarity networks, initiating and participating in public actions, mobilizing activists, organizing and doing presentations.

Subscribers are required to identify themselves, and encouraged to post on this list-serve. There is no expectation that they respond to every suggestion.

Posts of subscribers will be limited to:
1.Sharing how they have responded to a call for action, thereby providing creative ideas and inspiration to the team and fellow subscribers.
2.Providing the communities and organizations CPT accompanies with information about the concrete things being done on their behalf so they will know they are not abandoned.
3.Providing the CPT team with feedback that allows the team to monitor the effectiveness of its calls for action, and the encouragement of knowing that calls for action are being acted upon.

Members can un-subscribe from this list-serve at any time.

The CPT team's posts will:
1.Provide subscribers with issues that need your attention and solidarity
2.Provide suggestions (in consultation with those we accompany) about how subscribers might respond.
3.Provide information about whether an issue has been resolved or whether further action is required.

A major component of CPT's work is being a catalyst for YOUR work on behalf of Colombians. Tipping the balance of power to create favourable conditions for peace and justice in Colombia requires YOUR active support. Thank you for being part of the CPT Colombia Action and Solidarity Network!
